Toad NUTS Noordhoek Unpaid Toad Savers

Toadlets started leaving the Kommetjie pond and Noordhoek pond this morning! Please let us know if you notice any movement in your area!

Check your pool every morning when it rains for the next month, place a rock on the step or install toad saver,

Check your drains and courtyards to ensure they don't get trapped,

And avoid mowing after rain!

I had many many babies on the move in my garden. I live on the edge of a lake. I caught as many babies as I could and moved them to the reeds at the edge of my garden, where they settled in happily.  Yesterday seemed to be the toadlets moving day, today has been quiet.  I keep checking my pool and today it was clear of  little swimming bodies.
