Thanks Ronnie! Well down for creating such an amazing wetland which has provided life for 1000's of endangered WLT tadpoles as well as other life! This is how we save the world.. one creature at a time!! Suzie
Just to let you know I have installed 2 Toad ladders into our pool and although I have found toads in the garden fortunately no casulties in the pool. Not sure if it is the ladders or they are becoming a little smarter........
Thanks Suzie, I'm only moving them as I need to get rid of the water container where they currently are, it's an old flattened vinyl swimming pool. The other tadpoles (in the old sandpit) are being left for now for just that reason.
Thanks for sharing your thoughs on the frog, I do have leopard toads as well just don't have a nice photo of one for the profile!
Thanks for the good comment. I agree that we should not move wildlife around to different habitats. It's even important to leave pieces of nature in place for the future of our planet. We thought of the frogs we cared for as foster care. Was is ok that they had a little vacation and then we took them back to their home? I think they appeared to be thriving.
Hi Suzie. Sorry missed planning meeting held recently. I would love to get involved. Who do I contact in my area (Constantia) wrt finding out plans and what help is needed. Regards Michelle Sholto-Douglas
